Our Mission:
Our philosophical belief is that all youth and their families have the ability to live socially productive lives regardless of social, physical or emotional barriers if given the appropriate support and services. Since its beginning in 1996, the mission of FTSS has been to equip families with the skills needed to lead a productive life as defined by their own goals, utilizing a strength based approach, empowering families to make constructive decisions for themselves in the familiar surroundings of their home and community. This is accomplished through the use of individualized service plans, linkages to community agencies and wrap-around services. Through education, encouragement and support our goal is to provide families with the skills needed to become stable, productive participants within the community.
FTSS offers a variety of services for youth and their families. We are an established Medicaid provider with Child Behavioral Health Services and are known for employing highly qualified and experienced professionals. We provide quality services to at risk youth and their families by working collaboratively with CMO, YCM, Mobile Response Organizations, County Youth Services Commissions, Juvenile Justice and Family Court. Our highly trained staff of LCSW's, MSW's and BSW's currently serves nine New Jersey counties including: Mercer, Monmouth, Ocean, Camden, Gloucester, Hunterdon, Middlesex, Somerset and soon Atlantic county.
